Raw materials

At Pandora Embalagens, each raw material is chosen with a purpose: to ensure quality, efficiency, and a reduced environmental impact. We use PP, PS, PLA, PET, and PE, all certified and adaptable to different sectors. We also offer biodegradable additives, which reduce decomposition time from 500 years to just 9 years. The decision on application depends on the project and each client's needs. Innovation and environmental responsibility go hand in hand in every solution.

PET / PET BIO

PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate)
Highly transparent and durable, widely used in beverage, food, and cosmetic packaging. Biodegradable additives can be applied, depending on project needs.

PP / PP BIO

PP (Polypropylene)
Lightweight, durable, and versatile. Ideal for packaging that requires durability and safety. Widely used in the medical, food, and industrial sectors.

PS / PS BIO

PS (Polystyrene)
Rigid and transparent, it provides a sophisticated look and effective protection. Widely used in promotional packaging, trays, blisters, and lids.

Brazil generates 13.6 million tons of plastic per year. Where does it go?

According to the IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics), Brazil will have 212 million inhabitants in 2025. Each person generates, on average, 64 kg of plastic per year. This means a total of 13.6 million tons of plastic waste will be discarded annually . In 10 years, we've accumulated 136 million tons.

The problem? It will take up to 200 years for this plastic to disappear . In other words, the trash discarded today will still be here in 2225.

Now, imagine a different scenario. What if all that plastic disappeared 99% faster?

The solution: plastics with biodegradable additives
With this technology, the decomposition time of plastic drops from 200 years to between 6 months and 9 years. This represents a 95.5% to 99.75% reduction in degradation time .

Comparing the scenarios:
Common plastic: After 10 years, NONE of the 136 million tons would have decomposed.
Biodegradable plastic: In the same period, most of it would have already disappeared from the environment.

If all companies adopted this solution, in just a decade, we would drastically reduce environmental pollution. Now, imagine this impact on a global scale.

Regular plastics last for centuries. Biodegradable plastics disappear up to 99% faster .
What impact do you want to leave?

The data presented are approximate estimates, based on official sources.
